Presentation Proposal Submission

Presentation Proposal Submission Directions

  • Accepted presentation formats include:
  1. Demonstration - (25 minutes) enables conference attendees to learn about methods, resources, or tools, and differ from workshops in that they are not interactive.
  2. Scholarly Paper - (25 minutes) spoken presentations that may include audio/visual elements.
  3. Workshop - (55 minutes) enables conference attendees to learn about specific methods, tools, resources, or projects through hands-on interaction. Workshops are generally designed to teach something or develop a specific skill, or set of skills, rather than present original research.
  4. Panel - (55 minutes) provides an opportunity to examine a topic in depth. A panel comprises at least two panelists and is facilitated by a moderator. The moderator may either engage panelists with curated questions or may provide initial remarks before inviting each panelist to share their perspective within a pre-established time frame. Panels might conclude with an audience Q&A session, a summation of key points, and acknowledgements.
  5. Poster - poster presenters will briefly present and interact with attendees regarding their research during a special showcase at the conference.
  • Complete presentation proposal submissions include:
  1. First and last names of all presenters
  2. Email addresses for all presenters
